Community Guidelines

Last updated: 24 September 2025

Kampunity's mission is to foster positive, inclusive communities where people can learn, share and connect. These Community Guidelines explain our expectations and help maintain a safe environment.

1. Expected Behaviour

  1. Be respectful and inclusive. Treat other members with kindness, dignity and respect. Encourage constructive discussions and celebrate others' achievements.
  2. Engage thoughtfully. Provide helpful, considerate feedback; practise active listening; and be mindful of cultural differences. Share experiences and knowledge without dominating conversations.
  3. Protect privacy. Only share your own personal information; respect the privacy of others and obtain consent before sharing someone else's details.
  4. Follow the law. Abide by all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to copyright, privacy, harassment and discrimination.

2. Prohibited Conduct

  1. Illegal or infringing content. Do not post content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent or infringes others' intellectual property rights.
  2. Hate speech, harassment and abuse. Do not target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics. Bullying, threats and personal attacks are not tolerated.
  3. Violent, sexual or otherwise harmful content. Do not post sexually explicit material, violent imagery, self‑harm content or content that promotes harm to self or others.
  4. Spam and malicious activity. Do not send unsolicited promotions, advertisements or repetitive messages. Do not spread malware, phishing links or deceptive schemes.
  5. Impersonation and misrepresentation. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  6. Unauthorised commercial activity. Do not sell goods or services outside of approved Camps or Trails without permission. Do not circumvent Kampunity's fees or payment systems.
  7. Gaming the system. Do not manipulate leveling or leaderboard systems through bots, scripts, multi‑accounting or other unfair methods.

3. Reporting and Moderation

  1. Reporting. If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, report it via the platform's report feature or contact hello@kampunity.com. We encourage users to support each other by reporting violations and not engaging further with offenders.
  2. Enforcement. Moderators and Kampunity staff may remove content, issue warnings or suspend/ban users who violate these Guidelines. First‑time offenders may receive a warning; repeated or severe violations may lead to removal from the community.
  3. Appeals. If you believe your content or account was removed in error, you may contact support to appeal. We review appeals impartially but are not obligated to reinstate content or accounts.
  4. Legal obligations. We may refer serious violations (e.g., threats of violence, sexual exploitation, illegal activities) to law enforcement authorities.

4. Age and Content Restrictions

  1. Age requirement. Users must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction to join or create Camps. Minors aged 13–17 may participate with parental consent.
  2. Sensitive topics. Content about self‑harm, suicide, eating disorders or other sensitive topics should be handled responsibly and, where possible, include trigger warnings. We may restrict or remove sensitive content that could harm users.

5. Content Ownership and Licence

Users retain ownership of their posts, comments and content. By posting on Kampunity, you grant us a licence to host and display your content as described in the Terms of Service.

6. Changes to the Guidelines

Kampunity may update these Community Guidelines to reflect feedback, changes in law, or evolving community norms. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
